GERAC was established in the constitution of Dokuz Eylül University in 1998. In spite the different scientific disciplines of the present academic staff on the university, GERAC has become a multidisciplinary association by gathering many researcher studying geothermal. Thus, depending on the reserch's aim or technologic target, by gathering academic groups of various branches.
